Getting Rid of Athletes Foot E-mail
Athletes foot is an itchy disease, which can be caught from different sources. It starts with redness in the creases between the toes, and one cannot stop from itching their feet. You can easily catch athletes foot from a local gym or playground, virtually from everywhere where people are playing some sports.

The disease is contaminating. Doctors will explain to you that athletes foot is a fungal infection of the feet and toes that lives on the surface of your skin.  The fungal cells can live on wet warm surfaces for a period of time, so this is the way that athletes foot travels from one person to another when there are infected people in locker rooms and pool areas.

The good thing is that you can use a powder or cream for athletes foot to get rid of it. You should also  wear cotton socks so that they keep you from being exposed in the open and thus infecting other people.  Exercise can be very helpful in fight against athletes foot. You should also keep strict hygiene on your feet, and change socks regularly. You shouldn’t let you feet sweat without changing the socks.

If you keep these rules, you will soon find out that itching gradually subsides, and everything is getting calm. The redness will take some time to disappear, but if you are strict and disciplined in following your doctor’s advice, you will get rid of it sooner than expected.

The best thing to keep yourself from contracting the illness, is to be very careful when going in public areas. Always be aware when going to the gym or to the public pool: there can be really some bacteria, which are just waiting to get to your feet. Wear sandals or slippers where-ever you go, and don’t take shower barefoot, unless you are at your home.
